Things To Do Around Paje And Zanzibar
Paje is characterized by a long sandy beach, shallow waters and windy conditions all year round. Some would say it’s the kite surfers paradise. However that’s not all our seaside village has to offer.
Paje is a great starting spot to explore Zanzibar Island and the rest of the archipelago. Paje has easy access to historical sites, iconic cultural locations and secret bays that make for the perfect romantic lunch. Paje also has some great beach bars and nightlife, with live music several nights a week. A great spot if you are looking to meet new people and enjoy some cocktails.
Safari Blue Tour
Take a full day to go sandbar-hopping on a comfortable sailing boat, snorkel over 2 different reefs, chill at a large powdery sandbank in the middle of the ocean, sail to a mangrove lagoon through a narrow coral entrance to find & enjoy a natural swimming pool, passing through the Menai Bay marine-protected area

Spice Tour + Mangapwani Caves
Go on a half day, guided tour to Kizimbani Spice farm, followed by a delicious lunch. Afterwards you’ll be taken 30 km north of Stone Town. First to a large, dark cave incorporates a freshwater pool. Next is the Slave Cave, further north, that was used as an illegal holding pen after the slave trade was abolished on the island. The price quoted by your guide will usually include taxi, entry fees, guide and lunch at Kizimbani Spice Farm· If you have a ferry or flight leaving late in the day this tour could be combined with your transport taking you to the airport/ferry or an ATM run.
